Custom Relief Carving with Solid Wood
Relief carving can be described as “carving pictures in wood”.
First, the process of relief carving involves removing wood from a flat wood panel. After that, the design appears to rise out of the wood. Subsequently, depending on the depth of the carving process, reliefs may also be classified as medium or high relief.
For example, the details of the carving is directly related to the depth of the relief carving. To sum up, the higher the relief the more intricate detail your wood carving will have.
